Headteacher’s Welcome

A warm welcome to St Anthony’s Catholic Primary School.

On behalf of the staff and governors of St Anthony’s I would like to welcome you and thank you for taking the time to visit our school website. St Anthony’s Catholic Primary School has served the local community of Anerley for more than 120 years. We are a small, one form school in the London Borough of Bromley, really close to Beckenham and to the Lewisham and Croydon border.

We are an inclusive school with a curriculum that celebrates the social and cultural diversity of our school. We strive for academic excellence but not at the expense of a wider creative curriculum. Our children learn and grow academically and socially and build resilience so that they are ready for the next stage of their education.

Our drive for outstanding achievement, together with a positive Christian ethos, are at the heart of our school ethos. In our Ofsted Inspection in November 2019, we maintained our GOOD Ofsted Rating.

The inspector noted that, “Pupils are happy to come to school. They told me it is a friendly place where everyone cares for each other. Pupils and staff alike have warm relationships, which gives the school the feel of a family.”

Mrs L. White,
